It´s hard to say where we are in the universe because we are not sure if the universe has a center. On a big enough scale the universe is considered homogeneous. On a smaller scale the universe has lots of structure like us. The biggest known structure is a supercluster of galaxies which form at the connection point. The Milky Way is found in a local group towards the edge of a smaller version of the super cluster. We call that a local supercluster.
